Hey all, so this is my first time building a computer and I was hoping I could get what I put together looked over. my budget is 1500$ for this and I want to keep it under that. This computer is going to be used for mostly gaming. I might use it for schoolwork cause I am still in college, but that entails just using Microsoft Office on it. I do have to buy a monitor, but I would don't want anything over 20 inches. Also, I will probably have to buy an OS. I would like to keep my build to around $1500. ok so my build:

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing

Motherboard: Asus SABERTOOTH Z77 ATX LGA1155

Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600

Storage: Sandisk Ultra Plus 128GB 2.5" SSD
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM

Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 670 2GB

Case: NZXT Phantom 410 (Black) ATX Mid Tower

Power Supply: PC Power & Cooling 750W ATX12V ($129.99)

Optical Drive: Lite-On iHAS124-04 DVD/CD Writer ($14.98)

Total: ~$1400

If you have any recommendations please make them. Also, I think the motherboard and video card I chose are good but I would like to hear your opinions on them. If you think you know of a better card or motherboard that would fit my build well please let me know!

Good job!I ike it i think the sabertooth is a rip off for what you get but if you like it go ahead if you want something nice and cheaper look at the ASUS P8Z77-V LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131820#top also you do not need a 750w power supply unless you plan on running sli then you do.But if not a 600w will be fine.As far as ram goes you're going to want to get low profile so it won't conflict with your aftermarket cpu cooler. Here some recommendations RAM:CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CML8GX3M2A1600C9B

RAM:G.SKILL Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-1600C9D-8GAB

If you don't mind me asking why do you think the Sabertooth is such a big ripoff? But Thank you!
