First build newegg "combo builds"?

It might. But I would get a different case like a NZXT 210 or NZXT 410 tempest or a Corsair 200R. And I would get a 400W power supply from Corsair or Seasonic.

You also need an Operating System. Linux is Free, otherwise you need to buy Window's or your choice of operating system.

What games are you going to be playing? I'd pay attention to their minimum specifications.

Too sum it it up I don't like that case, you might. I wouldn't trust the power supply as far as I could throw it and you shouldn't either. Save a little more if you can and update in those areas.
The rest of the stuff is good.

This will be better:

If you can afford the extra $20, upgrade the processor to an A10-5800K.

Thanks for replying.
I have 500$ to spend so I already subtracted 150$ for windows and keyboard mouse and antivirus.
I didn't really like the case either but its part of a combo so I can't switch it out I don't think.
I'll probably mostly play civilization 5. I'm pretty sure the build meets the requirements.
Maybe you could suggest a better build.
I'd like to have at leat 8 gb of ram, that's really my only requirement.

Is the a10 much better than the a8 or is it just a small difference?

I would not get that combo deal at all that PSU will be the downfall and possibly screw over your system in the long run

Also dont waste money on Antivirus use AVG its completely free and then you can even get a "paid" version for free if you know where to look. Put that extra money elsewhere

Grand total about $520 then whatever shipping charges are.

I think the Seasonic PSU here will serve you very well.Trust me you will love the modular cables. My Seasonic X-850 850W serves me well.
Also you can add 4 more case fans to the NZXT 410 tempest later. I would recommend Cougar fans or Noctua fans (get these ones from NCIX they are cheaper there). And if you wanted to later (since you you would have 550W of power) you could add a 660 Nvidia card or AMD 7850 or AMD 7870 down the road if you needed more performance.

About anti-viris software. Microsoft has Microsoft security essentials and its free if you own a Microsoft OS.

Civilization 5 system requirements
Recommended Requirements

Operating System: Windows® Vista SP2/ Windows® 7
Processor: 1.8 GHz Quad Core CPU
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Hard Disk Space: 8 GB Free
DVD-ROM Drive: Required for disc-based installation
Video: 512 MB ATI 4800 series or better, 512 MB nVidia 9800 series or better
Sound: DirectX 9.0c-compatible sound card
DirectX®: DirectX® version 11

So this should play it pretty well. If not, just add a graphics card then you should be good.

thats way over his budget

I'm in Canada and would prefer to get parts from newegg.ca
How are the a10 5800k graphics?
If I were to get a graphics card it would have to be under 75$, at this price would it even be worth it to get a graphics card or would the a10 integrate graphics be decent?

And after that he clearly states he took $150 out for OS, Mouse, keyboard and Antivirus (which I told him not to buy antivirus since he can find a good one online for free) Which takes the price back down to $350...

Let me check my math....

$500-150= $350

Verdict in I can still count....

Or what he is actually trying to say is that he already bought the OS, Keyboard, mouse, and antivirus. Which means he had $650 to spend towards a PC. The chance of this being true very slim but still possible, so we need a confirmation. Does the OP have a budget of $500 or $350

Boom, I stand corrected.

here is the best I could find for your price range
