This is my first build and I was looking to see what you guys think of it. I am only in high school so I don't have a source of money and that's why I can't buy the new generation products. Here it is: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1f0sd

Monitor (found a better deal without PCPartPicker) http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7974747&Sku=A179-2023

Approximate Purchase Date: Sometime in August

Budget Range: (e.g.: 300-400) ~750 or less

System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming, watching movies/videos, homework

GPU Dillema: I don't know whether to go for the GTX 650 ti boost or the AMD Radeon 7790. Gtx is said to perform better but my motherboard is only Crossfire compatible so in the future I could get 2 Radeons. In that case I might have to get a better PSU.

Solution
get the 650ti. its faster, and i dont know how it could be considered a waste if your gaming at lower resolutions, i doubt it would be able to max most modern games at 1600x900. it will last you longer then the 7790. no need to upgrade your monitor unless you want to, its a great price imo. i really dont recommend crossfire, as of now its a pain and the performance payoff isnt really worth it especially for mid range cards. if you want more power later on sell your gpu then upgrade to a single high end.

What about 7790? Still get a 1080p monitor? Or will mine suffice? All i wanna do is play games on high settings.
