First build: Powering an ODD? What cable?

I just completed my first build, with some bumps (some solved by suggestions elsewhere here). I seem to have one remaining embarrassing issue: I don't know how to power the DVD drive :-(

The case is an InWin 901, whose instructions are pretty sparse: they assume that you know what all of the plethora of cables are for. The 901 has a sort of hidden compartment for installing a slim ODD, and the instructions show you how to insert it and screw it into place, but not how to connect it. There is a pair of cables that would seem to be for this drive; one is a regular SATA, but the other ends in a weird connector with sort of a plastic shelf and space for four pins but only two, on the left side.

I assume this is obvious to most people, but I simply don't know how to plug this into the PSU (a Corsair CX430). Since every component seems to come with a zillion extra cables for every possibility, I'm surprised that there isn't something that would fit this.

Google wasn't too helpful, as I'm not even sure how to form the question.

Thanks!

You're connecting an optical drive to both the MB and PSU? You will locate a SATA data cable, connect one end to the MB and the other end to the Drive.(similar to the connection you made to the hard drive) The power cable(sata) will come from the PSU and not the case itself. Locate a SATA power cable and plug it into the drive(directly next to the SATA to MB cable).

Um, I don't know what I'm connecting it to. I assumed I need to connect it to the MB (to actually transfer data) and the PSU (to provide power). Is this not the situation?

The drive itself isn't accessible--it's entirely enclosed by the case, which provides the cables (I assume they're hot-swap cables, like those for the HDDs) I can deal with, and as said, one is a SATA that I can plug into the MB, and I don't know what the other one is. I had assumed that this other one is some kind of power cable that I need to connect to the PSU, but I don't know how.

I'm sorry if I'm not describing things correctly.

As I said, the drive itself isn't accessible--it slides into a compartment in the case, so all I have is the hot-swap cables provided by the case. I just need to know how to attach the two-pin thing to the PSU.
