Hello, my name is Liam, I'm 11 years old, working on my first build, and have run into a few issues. I've connected all the wires as instructed and still get no sign of life when I turn it on.

I have tested the power supply, an Apevia Premier 650w, using the paper clip test. It is working fine. I have tested continuity on my power switch, it worked fine. My motherboard is a cheap Gigabyte B550M K so I assumed it was defective and sent it back for testing. They told me there was nothing wrong with it and sent it back. I am at a loss at what to do next, does anyone have any recommendations?

I have checked all the posts I can and no one seems to have had the same problem, I also went through all the steps in this post.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

I have tested the power supply, an Apevia Premier 650w, using the paper clip test. It is working fine.
The paperclip test is moot, it only tells you that the PSU can output power but it doesn't tell you how much power the unit can effectively output.

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

Can you offer more images? without images I can't read any info out from your post.
Have you tried to pull the motherboard outside of the case, simply connect PSU, cooler, CPU and memories onto it, and boot it by short-circuiting the boot pins? If the case has some partitions that touches with the back of the motherboard, the motherboard will get short-circuited and not boot at all.

Setting up a powerful PC is my dream in my childhood, and I finally realized it when I was 21. One and a half year has gone, and I finally found that it's my favourite hobby and till now I've built 14 different PCs. Congratulations, you are very lucky to build one at 11!
