Hi, I just build up my PC and the fans started spinning, lights are on, but nothing appears on the screen.

Any recommendations? 🙁

Make sure your psu connections are fully connected and are in the right ports.

Make sure your Graphics card is seated "Correctly" in the right slot and the 6pin or pins connector(s) are connected properly.

Since your getting motherboard connection, thats what it would sound like, a video card problem. Is the fan on the video card spinning?

Yeah, fan is on the motherboard and correctly seated but it seems the fan on the Video card is not spinning. Could the video card be the problem?

If its not spinning then, theres either a connection problem "not in the slot correctly" or the monitor is not in the right female connection in the back of the video card or isnt fully in the slot. Make sure your power connector is fully plugged into the wall from the monitor aswell. If all these things are done correctly,

usually a video card has different connections, dvi/hdmi or hdtv video out ports, if its an older model then d-sub, make sure your connection from your monitor is in the right slot.

Now, if you still have a problem, then sounds like a DOA videocard.

I'm pretty sure I had everything seated and connected properly. I'm going to borrow a friend's video card and see if that works. If it does, then I definitely know the problem is with the video card, so I can contact Evga about it. It's a GTX 260 btw. I'll let you guys know what happens.

Any POST beeps? Assuming there's a speaker attached to the mobo, you should hear beeps. Make sure the 4- or 8-pin CPU power connector is in place. Without it, you'd still get fans running.

No, there are no post beeps, though I hear some buzzing when I on it and the colorful lights on the motherboard are working. I also tried my friend's video card this time. His video card does not require a connection from the power supply. So when I put his video card in the motherboard, his video card fan started spinning but still no display. Also, I tried my graphics card in a friend's computer and it worked. So could it be the motherboard? What do you guys think?

Update: Just noticed that my DVD Drive isn't working either when I turn it on and press the eject button, nothing happens. Any idea?

Also, the 2x4 12V connector is not plugged in. Do I need to plug that in? or is the main power connector fine alone? And if I need the 2x4 connector, which plug do I use for it?
