This is an aesthetics build, so majority white components are important here.

Beside a regular build check, I wanted to know if selecting a DDR4 3000 or DDR4 3200 RAM would be better for this build. I've read that Ryzen liked the speed, but is it noticeable enough for the few extra dollars? I figured it wasn't.

One of the 500GB SSD will be for Steam. The other will be partitioned for the 2 operating systems (Windows and Linux). Would 500GB be too much for the two OS? I would prefer to keep Steam and my OS separate.

3000 mhz is fast enough, you wont notice the difference.
500 gz is more than enough for 2 os.

however i disagree buying everything over a period.
you just need a little bit of bad luck and youre out fo waranty to rma it in the store for free.
than you need to contact the manufacturer and youre 2 weeks futher.

Sorry, I probably should've been more clear. The 1600X I bought last weekend from Amazon on sale and I have until mid-ish August to do any exchange/returns. I buying the motherboard, cooler, RAM and PSU this week, to make sure everything works. Its not ideal, I know. But its a risk I'm comfortable with. Although I wouldn't recommend it personally too.

As for the Ram. I believed the 3000 was enough. Thank you for confirming and for the help!

I would say having a second 500GB SSD just for your operating systems is probably way overkill. Unless you're also storing bulk data or games on the drive, even a 250GB drive would probably be far more than enough. Have a look at how much storage your current system is using for Windows and your applications to get an idea of what you might need. It would probably be better to put the money toward other components (or save for future upgrades) than to buy a bunch SSD storage that would likely just sit around unused.

I would recommend you to get Ryzen R7 1700 if possible.
If you want to have a custom water loop then return that case and go for bigger one which makes it easy to work with and meaningful to have better air flow. It is not satisfactory to have custom loop in case like NZXT S340 Elite.
1000W PSUs are crazily overpriced otherwise I wanted to go for it. If you can find a 1000W PSU Like Corsair RM1000x or EVGA G2 1000W for lower price in your local store that would be a better option. If you want to add a custom loop.

I'll switch to a 250GB. Just looked it up and 20GB is Windows 10 minimum requirement for installation. So what I picked is simply overkill. Even with a partitioned drive. Thank for the help.

Unfortunately for me, most cases I don't like. I've looked at watercooling builds in the S340 and its is doable. But ya, space is a premium. Thanks for the input.
