Hello, I have come to the conclusion on a build, I chose the 1060 over the 1070 as I would rather just upgrade to the 1080 down the road, I just don't have the budget for it right now. Please share your thoughts on the build and the monitor that you would recommend for it!

My budget for the build (excluding peripherals) is pretty maxed out. The monitor will be a gift for Christmas, so I just want to know which be a good fit?

Everything looks fairly good, though you could save a bit with a Hyper 212 Evo cooler, and a silver or less rated PSU. You're really only saving a few pennies on electricity with Gold rated ones.

On monitor, that depends totally on how much the person gifting it is willing to spend, which might be a rude question to ask. It also depends how close you'll be sitting to it, as that determines size.
