I currently have a BenQ RL2455 monitor I purchased for playing fighting games on console and am unsure if I should use that for my PC or leave it for the ps4 and upgrade/try a dual monitor setup. Would I be better off going with a 1080p 144hz monitor or a 1440p one if I purchase a new monitor?

Some brief info:

- Will be primarily for gaming and home media use
- Gaming performance is my main concern and while I largely play games with low demands the ability to comfortably play new releases into the future is important to me.
