Hello,

looking for help for my first build. What is really important for me is that the pc is silent. I tried picking the parts but am not sure if they are good and fit together:

Do you have any recommendations to make it better (for me that means performance and silence)? Can also be a completly different build, this is just something I tried myself.

Approximate Purchase Date: this or next month

Budget Range: no real limit

System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming (starfield)

Are you buying a monitor: No

Parts to Upgrade: Completly new build

Do you need to buy OS: Yes
Please note that if you're using an OEM license of Windows, you will need a new one when buying a new motherboard.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts:
amazon.it

Location: Italy

Parts Preferences: nvidia gpu

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: No

Your Monitor Resolution: 2560x1440

Additional Comments: As said above the most important thing for me is that the pc is silent. I picked a lot of be quiet parts as apparently they fit that quite well. But if other parts are better I have no probleme switching them (noctua fans?). Also really unsure about the motherboard, just picked something that sould be okay.
No peripherals are needed.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: My laptop broke so I'm searching for something new and as I don't need something portable anymore I'm looking for a desktop

Thanks in advance

I wouldn't change anything. The parts you picked are perfect for 1440p gaming.
Should be a really silent build. The CPU cooler is really good, i wouldn't change it for a Noctua fan since the cooling performance wouldn't differ much and it matches the rest of the build ( be quiet case, be quiet case fans ).
Really solid build!

No pc with moving parts like fans can be truly silent.
That said, it can be very quiet, even inaudible.
You just tune the fan speeds to your desired comfort level/ performance balance.
You can build as is.

But, Replacing the be quiet drp4 with a noctua NH-D15 will be quieter for a given amount of cooling.

And, my reading says that the case will come with two 140mm front fans and a 140mm exhaust fan.
No extra fans needed.

Thanks for the responses,

I had the noctua first, but switched to the drp4 because it fit better and I couldn't find anything clear to say it was better. I think I will go back to the the noctua.

As for the fans I know that there are already 3 installed, but I added two because I thought that would be better. I found that more fans means they can run at lower rpm and are more silent. Does that not really matter? The additional fans are the same that are already in the case

Ok thanks, I will try without any additional fans first.

Any opinion(s) on the mother board? As written, that what I'm most unsure about

Its a solid board.
Heatsink covers the VRM's, chipset and M.2 drive.
Has built in WiFi, which means you wont have to buy a Wifi Adapter if you intend on using WiFi.
Supports higher RAM clock speeds, 192 GB max RAM support if you need to upgrade it down the line.
Wouldn't really recommend any sort of CPU overclocking though.
Over all a really solid mid-range board.
