So I'll be building my new ASUS SABERTOOTH 990FX R2 into my ENERMAX Fulmo ST ECA3270, and curious bout the fan speed control, the case is suppose to have a switch to manually control fan speed, will plugging the case fans into the motherboard bypass that control and just give the bios/program control of the speed or will the physical slider trump it?

I'm assuming plugging directly into the PSU would leave the manual control only, just dont want the case and mobo to be fighting each other for control.

Thanks for the response jolly, after putting it all together I found It was a little stranger than I expected, but it also made my original question a moot point, the 2 fans on top side of the case were tailors for mobo connection, while the case lights and 2 front fans were tied together for a molex bypass input only. the slider on the case controls those front fans AND dims the case lighting (didnt notice that was a feature), while mobo controls the top exhaust, case is REALLY quiet too, gpu can get a bit whiny tho, probably doesnt help that its in a corner so the sound echos >< but thanks again for the input ^^

Solution
If you plug fans in the mobo you will have the voltage and slide control. if you plug them in molex drives directly they will run at max speeds, if your case has bult in fan controll switch it probably has some sort of pcb with fan header athat then connect to the mobo or psu
