I was wondering if you would be using all the features on the chosen board. Though, it would let you upgrade to the FX 9370 0r 9590, if the AM3+ roadmap is at an end that would be the extremes of the upgrades for your motherboard. That's not to say the 8320 wouldn't last you for years.

the board eventually would be used for gaming once i could afford a good card, im generally looking for a good gaming pc for around £600.
only other uses would be basic internet and word proccessing.
thanks for the quick suggestions ive been trying to decide for days which processor to buy out of the 6300, 8350 and the 8320 still undecided.

You could overclock either the 6300 or 8320 quite well for the price to get better performance, quite nicely with the Noctua. I would question whether you would notice a difference between the 6 core and 8 core for gaming.

The 6300 is probably better suited to a budget build and frees up that little bit more savings towards a new GPU. That's just my thoughts on it though.

+1 to this build but get an 8320 and overclock it to 8350 speeds.
