ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Case design is going green for sure. Blue is a bit lame to me. Green is my favorite color Mainly want to play WoW & have the opportunity to show my e-peen when friends are over. I definitely like the modular idea on the psu. I blew my own budget with this and would just like to get some open ideas on how to decrease costs while not shaving off too much performance. This is the first time I'm treating myself to something THIS nice.

First of all, that case does looks awesome lol. (Green's a very under-used color IMO)

I've never heard of your PSU manufacturer, which automatically makes be not trust them, and the wattage is a little low. It looks like it might be ok, but I always recommend Corsair 650,750,or850TX's. They're not modular, but if you take a little time to manage your cables, it'll be fine.

Other than that, it sure looks like a nice build. Good luck.

Well, from my understanding Muskin makes some some pretty solid Ram.
I didn't even know they made psu's but it's efficient and has a green led , and it's modular. I originally had an OCZ xStream 600w in the wishlist. the muskin has 38A on the combined 12's. I was just going to take a stab and hope it wasn't complete crap.
Assuming I'm not retarded and am reading it right, xs has muskin listed in between tier 2 & 3 for psu's

Edit: And what I'm really trying to figure out is if I should/could cut costs somewhere and on what, what would it be?

I could go to a 4870 for significantly less (as low as 124.99 or a 4850 for as low as 109.99) but I've never actually had anything as new as a 4890 and I hear it's pretty oc friendly

Thank you for the suggestion! That psu looks quite hmm...menacing...if that is a proper word to use. thank you for pointing it out on the muskin. I've been up for about 5 hours debating on what all I should buy. I think the main thing muskin has for it is the green led (which I GUESS I can live without *cry*) and the modular design. But I guess with the case it shouldn't be too hard to route everything.

As for the dvd burner. I actually have a samsung about a month old I'm just swapping in. The dvd drive is for wife's pc >.> *insert snicker here* She'll never know.

And shame on you! I ask for ways to cut costs. Not increase them.

I'm definitely taking it to heart though.

Also, Even though I've never shopped on Tigerdirect this psu is tier 2 and 20 bucks more than the corsair, with 1.99 shipping.
