Hi guys so i have a choice between these 4 cards.

GTX 770
GTX 760
R9 280X
AMD 7979

I will be mostly playing DotA 2 and Sc2 also BF4 and some other fps games. I will have a dual monitor setup as well. Btw it will be great if you can also tell me which edition to get. I have a budget around 300-350. Thanks!

Solution

This 770 is cheaper than any 7970ghz or R9 280x
It also has a game bundle

Further...
With that budget, I would go for something like this. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121770&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

It's the strongest card you can get for 300-350.

the 770, R9 280x and 7970ghz perform about the same

the 770 and 7970ghz both has game bundles
I personally would choose the cheaper of the two (though 7970 has 3GB of VRAM, useful for dual screen gaming )

I personally would choose this card, Factory OC 7970 so it performs almost like the 7970ghz, but mucho cheaper

if you are gaming at 1080p, GTX 770 and 280x are pretty much the equal in performance from what i know. get which ever one is cheaper or comes with better bundled games.

the 280x is a re-branded and slightly tweaked HD 7970.

can you give me the name of the card? since im on the canadian site it wont redirect me to it.

The 770 is the best here, beating the 280X SLIGHTLY in performance. The 770 costs 30-40$ more though. I wouldn't give more money for almost the exact performance. They're pretty much grinding up at each other in performance. I would get the R9 280X.
You are also able to overclock the R9 280X to be even better than the 770.

The 7970ghz is the same as the R9 280x but has game bundle
the 770 also have game bundle

as a Canadian, I would take this card, games make it worth while

ahh ok so for a little better performance with the would you pay an extra 30-40? or should i just go with the 280x or 7970?

Further thought though has made me realize for dual screen gaming, you'll probably want more than 2GB of VRAM, so the AMD cards are ikely better

alright so if i was going to get the amd 280x and oc it would a gigabyte windforce tri fan be more suitable than a regualr dual fan?

2gb cards with storming performance. However, if I was looking for a Gpu for a multi-monitor setup, I'd really want 3gb or more:

This is $360 inc. rebate and the Gigabyte Windforce coolers have great reviews (look at the reviews on Newegg) I really think that spending a little over your budget is worth it in this case....
