First build, will boot but will not give video signal to monitor

Asus M5A99FX Pro R2.0, AMD FX 8350 corsair cx600m PSU 16gbs corsair vengeance ddr3 2400mhzFirst time builder, felt the build went alright, went to boot for first time, went to bios after several seconds turned off by itself, repeated the boot with the same results, after a few boots it stopped giving a video signal at all. I've been all over Google trying to find fixes but nothing seems to be my issue. Any help is severely appreciated.

This sounds really weird, I'm guessing it's a hardware fault either with the motherboard or the GPU
