Hi, pretty new to all this but will be getting some help on my first build. Got a $1500 budget and am looking to get
the following;

Case: BitFenix Merc Alpha Mid Tower Case
CPU: i5 3570K
Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Extreme4 Motherboard
RAM: Corsair Vengeance CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3
PSU: OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W Modular
DVD Drive: LG GH24NS90 24x SATA DVD-RW Drive OEM
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB
SSD: Intel 520 Series 120GB SSD
Graphics Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 Ti WF2 2GB
OS: Windows 7 Home Prem 64bit

$1189 + $103 postage
Total $1292

Just want to make sure its all compatible and isn't too much of a challenge for a first build.

i cant say anything except for PSU, you may want certified PSU from corsair, xfx, or antec brand certified silver is enough

Yeah that and the case were the 2 things I wasn't sure about...

for case, antec three hundres two is popular but absolutely case is about your taste.
and i will recommend getting PSU xfx 750 silver for about 90ish
