I've just built my first PC and I am not able to get a video signal from my mobo vga-vga. I have tried everything on the list provided that I have found in other threads.

http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/261145-31-perform-steps-posting-post-boot-video-problems

The parts that I have in it are:
MSI H81-P33 mobo
Intel Core i3-4160
EVGA 500 Watt power
Corsair Vengeance 2x 4Gb
XFX Radeon R7 370
Western Digital 1 TB hard drive
Samsung SATA SH-224DB/BEBE optical drive
VIVO ATX Mid Tower

I have checked multiple times to make sure that everything is plugged up correctly and it looks like it is.

Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated

Thank you

That description is very vague. Your RAM could be the problem. There is more to memory than just finding a couple sticks that fit the slots.
Ok so i managed to get a signal to my screen. After I tried unhooking all my cables and reconnecting them, I went through all the steps in that list again and was able to get it to work when I took one of my sticks of RAM out. Tried it again with the other stick and it still worked. Tried to boot up in the slot that was not being used when it did come up and nothing worked. Does this mean that RAM slot is faulty?
