So I built my first computer in August of 2013 and it works fine except it freezes randomly at random work loads. I ran diagnostics and ruled out the hard drive and the video card so its either the RAM, processor, or mobo (my money is heavily on the RAM).

Mobo: ASRock Z77 Extreme3 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 15000) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1866C9B

CPU: Intel Core i7-2600 Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 2000

GPU: NVIDIA GTX 760

HDD: WD 1T 7200rpm black

If there are parts that don't go well together let me know or if some aren't good for gaming please tell me.

If you think its the ram, then download memtest and test the ram. I just a few months ago kept getting blue screen windows error's, thought it was the ram, ran the test, within seconds I had thousands of errors. Since I had 4 sticks, I kept 2 in and took out the other 2 and ran, then repeated. Conclusion 2 sticks of ram were bad, filed rma and within days had new ram.
