Hello my name is Al and after years of only having mid-level laptop computers, I've decided to build what I hope is a good gaming computer with room for upgrades!

As I've never done this before, I need some help picking out components. I'm limiting myself only to stuff I can find on amazon.com (12 months no interest woot) but they seem to have just about everything anyway.

Here is a link to the list of all the components I have selected so far:
http://amzn.com/w/2PQKJD73I9HM3

NZXT Technologies Switch 810 Matte Black Full Tower Chassis
MSI Z87-G45 GAMING Motherboard
EVGA GeForce GTX770
Intel Core i7-3770K
Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz
Western Digital 1TB 10000RPM 64MB SATA 6 GB/S - 2.5 VELOCIRAPTOR SATA HARD DRIVE
Pioneer Electronics USA Blu Ray Combo Drive, BDC-207DBK

I figure that with this setup, I'll have a solid rig with plenty of room for upgrading. I can overclock the CPU and add liquid cooling, double up on GTX770 and have 2 graphics card etc. I know the CPU is a bit overkill, but I figure I'll just have it for a long time and overclock it when it bottlenecks future graphics cards. I'll probably be running windows 8 on it. Any suggestions? Also a few questions:

Will the cooling already provided in the case be enough if I don't overclock it any time soon?
How many watts a powersupply will I need?
What's a good wireless card? I have a new this year router straight from verizon and I think it is pretty solid, I'm not really familiar at all with wireless tech lol.
Does the listed motherboard have it's own sound card? Will that be sufficient?
Is there anything else that I'm missing?

Thanks in advance.

Your motherboard doesn't support your CPU, you need a Z87 compatible processor aka Haswell series. The equivalent for the one you chose is the i7-4770k.

The velociraptor drive, huge waste, you won't notice the difference between it and a standard 7200rpm drive, better get an SSD and a regular HDD.

Also, you didn't listed a PSU, and this is an item you definitely don't want to skimp on as a not reliable one can fry your computer if something bad happens.

If you post a budget I can compile a list for you. Do you need to buy Windows too? and a monitor?

Monitor and windows is already covered. I don't really want to go over 1500, and now of course looking over the prices of everything listed I'm already at $1400 lol. I guess my "reach" price is about $1700
