first custom gaming pc i intend to make.. is everything looking good and compatable.. any help or suggestions

That build is fine. The Corsair Builder 500w is an ok power supply. Though if you're going to use that build for gaming, you should consider an r9 380 which i think is cheaper but a bit stronger than the 960. Overall that's a good build. but i think you should buy a cheaper i5 like the 4460 rather than buying a K version and see if you can fit an r9 280x in the budget.

I picked the i5 with the K for higher processing and overclocking at the bios but thanks for the help^
i have looked into the r9 graphics card though and i intend to switch.. i am just not as fimiliar with Radeon thats all

now fimiliar with them.. i heard many revieves about power issues with the r9 300 series and turning off computers so im just going for the big boy 970 nvida
