This is my first ever build. Some could say I'm a noob. I've got my parts picked out, but I still need some help with what to look for in fans, and how to know how many my build will need.

Here is my completed part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/EC74/saved/kqnzK8

Overall, I'm just looking for suggestions on the amount of fans I need, and what I should generally be looking for. Also, I would be thankful for any general advice about other things I could change to make my computer better.

Thanks!

I changed some bits, keeping the price similar. The PSU is less efficient, but still very good and a bit more powerful than you need, but the best available in that price-range. I used the saved money for a significantly better CPU.

I'm assuming this is a budget gaming computer.

The case comes with two 120mm fans than they may be enough. I would only get an additional fan if it turned out to be needed. A $30-$40 aftermarket CPU cooler would allow you to get some more performance out of the system.

This is significantly better than your original system.
