I compiled a pcpartpicker list for my 15 yo nephew's first PC biuld. The maximum budget is $1,500.

The primary use is for FPS shooters.

No peripherals or OS system is needed.

He is pretty much set on an Intel/Nvidia build even though I think he should go AMD route.

He is not going to be overclocking so I do not think he needs an aftermarket CPU cooler.

I also need help in choosing the right video card.

I am open to buying a used CPU and GPU.

Purchases are planned for BF.

I appreciate anybody's input and thanks in advance!

Intel CPUs dont come with coolers. And I would get an AMD CPU over Intel any day of the week right now.

Anyway here's my build for you. I didnt include a GPU since its a pretty terrible time to buy one, either the new 3000 series Nvidia cards are out of stock or overpriced and the new AMD cards are literally being released this month and next. I also went with a last gen AMD CPU simply because they are still very good, and come with coolers unlike the new XT which dont.
