That's cubs for you. I've known em trot in so fast that the rifleman
has had fun keeping the target in focus!

I trust you've cleaned all the blood off that shotgun young man? LOL

Pete - you bet! no blood on my barrels!!
Yeah basically this cubb ran straight down the tramline in the beet field and
then striaght up to me....i've never known anything like it!!
I knew cubbs were a bit daft at times but this is rediculous, i shot this fox
at a distance of around 6 feet!

Hows shooting for you at mo pete???
I've recently moved as you know so have given up all my old grounds, got a
couple of fields here in cockfield but nowt really happening.

Hows the gunsafe?

They'll do it on stubble fields too.

Never enough time so, really, I'm getting as much as I can find time
for.

The fox was so close that I didnt really know where to shoot it considering i
had SSG's loaded but settled for the front of the chest in the end.

Work must be pretty busy for you at the mo if youve not got much spare time
then... i'm taking a week off in a couple of weeks to go down to milton keynes
and then on to hampshire for roe stalking so hopefully have some good pics from
that lot.

The cabinet, by the way, is excellent. I'd recommend flintwood as a
supplier of BrattonSound cabinets anytime.

I would encourage anyone looking for a cabinet to accomodate more
than one big rifle & scope combo to take time to measure the
depth/width taken up by such a firearm. It took me several hours to
work out the optimum storage arrangement...and no it isn't all in a
row.
