My old pre-built system suffered some damage through a power surge recently. I thought I would take this opportunity to do a full upgrade. I have replaced parts and moved cases before, but since I have never done a full build from purchasing to assembly I thought it would be a good idea to have some second opinions, and see if there is anything I should look out for. Here are the parts i'm going for:
CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core
Cooler: Stock
MB: B450 Tomahawk ATX AM4
RAM: Corsair - Vengeance RGB Pro 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 [thought I would indulge in the RGB]
Storage: HDD from old system + Samsung - 860 Evo 250 GB 2.5" SSD
GPU: Sapphire - Radeon RX 580 8 GB NITRO+
PSU: SeaSonic - FOCUS Plus Gold 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
- - -
Case: NZXT - H500 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case
Monitor: Dell - U2417H 24.0" 1920x1080 60 Hz Monitor
I'm a pretty avid gamer so I would like this build to hit 60 fps in most games, but I also work in design/simple video editing, so I need this system to function well in that respect.
I really appreciate any feedback or suggestions. <3
