cpu-http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ivy_Bridge_(microarchitecture)#List_of_Ivy_Bridge_processors
gpu-http://www.tomshardware.com/news/Nvidia-Kepler-GPU-GeForce-600-Series,14642.html

i also would like a better headset if it does not go over the budget and which one is more powerful the wifi that comes with the board or the linksys card. gonna use the ssd for boot-between 90-180 gigs, yes i want to keep the hdd at 2tbs and at those speeds, cool looking computer case would be nice, yes i want the 16 gigs of ram just cause its so cheap, if changing the keyboard i would like a volume knob backlit would be appreciated- i currently have a stock mouse and a old logitech g510 keyboard. and i think that is about it all the parts located below

thanks for your understanding.

wow look at all those links and pictures, really impressive but yet again id like to stay with the 16gb of ram, i guess i could switch to 120gbs of ssd storage id stick with the 80plus gold power, i think about the case and the motherboard, naw with the processor, 2tb hdd please, any cheaper gpus? oh and i already have win 7 pro

cool thanks and yep im gonna get the 3770k when it comes out and is there any difference between using 4 sticks and two?

Look at my post a few post above this one with the link to the 2x8GB set of RAM. You don't want to fill all those slots up with a 4x4GB set. Leave yourself some room to expand , as in add another 8GB (2x8GB set) in the future.

uh....32gb of what? and if your reffering to ram im only getting 16....-_-

ah thats smart, and im replying to the posts as i scroll down so i might be kinda late to the party... sorry!

edit:
and do you have that in blue? i kinda want everything to match. Thanks!

woah those ripjaws are expensive oh well

Sorry. I did mean RAM, and I was replying to the post above mine. This is going so fast that someone posted before me. Also, $120 is actually a pretty good deal on two 8GB sticks of DDR3-1600 RAM. Here's some blue:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231568
$140, but if you want color, you've got it.

EDIT: Just don't get this RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820211600
I know it's blue, but its CAS latency is 11, which is no good for your build. Anyways, RAM isn't all that visible from the side:
Computer_from_inside11.jpg

I think some black RAM would still be fine for your color scheme

ah i have no idea what cas latency is but ok! i was not going to get that one anyways because it looks terrible and pasty, and besides the ripjaws sounds and looks cooler. and black ram hmmm ok ill look into that, i guess the black could go into the black ram slots but i dont know if there is enough clearance under the 212 evo

You're building a gaming rig, you don't want to cheap out on the most important part of it. Ram, mobo and cpu take a back seat to the GPU. That's where you should be extravagant. Limit everything else to fit within your budget.

i guess but maybe a GTX670 😀

SSD - I'd get Tier 1 (240/256 GB) or Tier 3 (120/128 GB) SSSD

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/ssd-review-benchmark,3139-6.html

GFX - If ya go with the 560 Ti.....the Twin Frozr has a great cooler but only a 6 phase VRM which limits its overclock ability. I'd get the Asus or Gigabyte 900 Mhz models (7 phase designs) or the MSI Lighting or Hawk.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121425

I'd seriously consider a 680, you could easily do an SLI 680 system for around $2200....however CUDA plug ins work wonders on the 5xx series cards bit not on the 680.

Cooler - The 212 is a greta budget cooler but $2200 is nota budget system.....I'd at least get a Hyper 612 PWM or Scythe Mugen 3

Case / PSU: Better choices

Case - Corsair 500R White http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139010
PSU - Corsair HX850 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139011

Case - Antec DF-85 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129087
PSU - Antec CP-850 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371024

MoBo / CPU - I'd wait for the Pro version..... Deluxe has features I don't think ya will use and Pro version usually $40-50 cheaper

http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_1155/P8Z77V_PRO/

As for the CPU, the 2600k is a CPU w/o a market niche.....if ya need HT, the 2700k is the far better buy for only $40 more.....if gaming, HT does nuthing for ya and saves ya $100 ....with the video editing definitely get the 2700k

RAM = Skip the silly tall, toothy heat sinks and but the low profile version..... this article is what caused Corsair to release them

The only cooling effect of these big coolers is that they "look cool". While they served a purpose (when they were effective) w/ DDR2, they are absolutely useless on DDR3.

http://benchmarkreviews.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=773&Itemid=67&limit=1&limitstart=1
At more than 2" tall in certain areas the Corsair Vengeance could pose a problem for users like me who use large coolers such as the Scythe Mugen 2. I was able to use the Corsair Vengeance only after I mounted the fan on my cooler on the backside. Size is definitely a concern with heat spreaders of this size and therefore I encourage users to check that they will have enough space under their heatsinks before purchasing the Corsair Vengeance kit.

http://benchmarkreviews.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=773&Itemid=67&limit=1&limitstart=6
The problem I have with the Corsair Vengeance is the same I have with many kits of RAM on the market. Companies insist on putting large coolers on their RAM and it limits the choice in CPU heatsinks that can be used within users system. DDR3 does not require these elaborate coolers with its lower voltages which translate to lower temperatures then RAM saw during the DDR, and DDR2 era. Corsair is correcting this with low profile versions of its Vengeance line but ultimately I would like to see the average size of coolers drop instead of having to look for specific low profile versions of a memory line.

I don't think ya need 16GB for gaming .....
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233197

With the video editing, may wanna opt for the CAS 7 versions
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233252

sigh* the computer does not actually cost 2200, 2200 is the combined cost of the keyboard mice, webcam etc.....
