Hi all,
I recently bought components for a new gaming PC and received some help from this board by reading others' posts and asking a question myself. However, despite pcpartpicker.com estimating my power supply to be more than adequate for my wattage, upon opening the new ASUS motherboard manual it gave me a website for a calculator.
Here are my specs (I didn't include the optical drive in here... just a standard LG one):
PCPartPicker part list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2j1WY

So while pcpartpicker claims an estimated 421W, the video card alone claims it needs 600W so I am not trusting pcpartpicker. The ASUS website (http://support.asus.com/PowerSupply.aspx?SLanguage=en) estimates I will need 750 watts.
Of course, I've already opened the 650 W power supply and begun installing it. Am I in trouble?
Thanks for your help!
