After some research I just build this:

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Jbb2Mp

Do you think I'm gonna be good for some years to come? I'm a gamer playing all new games that come out like Witcher, Watchdog, Batman, etc etc, with a loyalty to WoW(playing regularly doing raids with guild and stuff). I never had a good PC before but now that I saved the money do you think I've done a good job selecting the parts? I don't think I'll be buying something new(PC-wise) in the years to come after this one so that's what I ask. :)

Quick edit: the noctua fans are set to replace the two case fans and the H90 fan for those who didn't get it and wanted to know

There is no thing as " game support for hyperthreading". that's a legend. the motherboard and the operating system has to support it. if that 2 does, applications can be optimised for multithreading. modern games can use up to 12 threads which will result in performance gain when the cpu is stressed.

why do you need a cd/dvd drive? I would drop that.
I have 2 suggestions for you:
for this budget get the i7 4790k. it can be up to 30% performance increase in modern cpu heavy games. as well if you want to start streaming editing and such it will help a lot. also a gtx 980 deserves the i7. and i guess you go with 16 gb ram , because you are a lazy boy like me. I never close my programs i work with and tons of google tabs i use when i start games, however they eat up a lot of cpu resources so if you're like that i definitely advice the i7.

The other thing is the SSD. I think you should get at least the 250GB version of the 850 EVo.
I have the same pc as you actually and i can tell you even the 250GB is not enough. So far i only have the OS runjning from it and 2 games ( GTA 5 , witcher 3 ) and it'S nearly full..... I'm just about the purchase one more 250gb 850 evo so i can put the upcoming titles on it.

You don't need the case fans or the thermal compound - those things are completely unnecessary. So drop those and invest more in your power supply. I generally don't advise people to wait, but if you can for a month or so the next round of Intel processors are due any day now as is the new Z170 chipset. Some of the motherboards that were announced at Computex look very promising.

All those things you said are good but that's exactly my budget, no exceptions 🙁 the CD drive will help me install big games like ESO and GTA V from the CD because i got 6/758 crap internet connection..so games that are big will take days to install...lol..what to do 🙁

LOL too late i already bought those....the website I was going to order from didn't have any of those in stock and I went and picked them up from a local store which is usually overpriced I just had no choice 😛

I saw some videos on youtube and I support you, plus as far as I know from my researches, the only difference between the two Devil's Canyon processors is the hyperthreading on the i-7 which is not utilized by 95% of games and only helps in video rendering and editing, stuff I don't do, that's why I went with the i5. My initial thought was 4790k+970.

Thermal compound is always a waste of money - which ever heat sink you buy will have compound that is better than Arctic Silver - especially Noctua and Phanteks and in some cases Cooler Master. Arctic Silver is inexplicably overrated - most fans include stuff that's far better and when you buy extra you're buying the same part twice. That's my two cents anyway.

The 4690k with a 970 would be great at 1080p but if you had the money for a 4790k and 980 why not consider a 4690k and 980Ti, it would be much stronger in all games and cost about the same, should also max out games for longer.

The one I bought was the Arctic MX-4. I read some stuff and a lot of people noticed a 5-6 Celsius difference in their systems but I thought even If it's not true, it's was only 7 euros(from where I live)

One poorly optimised game and an unknown YouTube vid, here is something a little more realistic http://anandtech.com/bench/product/1260?vs=1261

for a gpu like the 980 or the 980ti the i5 is not adviced by me. the best gpu i would pair with the i5 is the 970. i've done several tests myself on my system nearly all modern games suffer when i turn HT off. especially if i do multitasking while running modern games.

poorly optimised game LOL... you clearly don1t know what you are talking about. if a game is well threaded it's well optimised on cpu side. i don't even understand why you give advices to people when you're knowledge has so huge flaws.

also if for you some graphs are more realistic than a real time monitored test... that's just.. ehm...

I'm not going to take this thread off topic, there are more threads on the i5 v i7 debate than we could ever read and there are plenty of threads on that game. I'm sure the OP can do his own research on these topics if he wishes and confident what he will find.

And especially with Skylake (i5-5XXX and i7-5XXX) due any day now I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot more of those.
