Just wondering if this could play older games like Just Cause 2 and BF3 on low

CPU/ AMD FX-6300
Graphics Card/ MSI Radeon HD 7770 ghz Edition
Mother Board/ ASUS M5A78L-M LX AM3+ AMD 760G Micro ATX
RAM (for now)/ Kingston 4gb DDR3 1333mhz
Power Supply/ Cooler Master 460w
Case/ Rosewill Micro ATX Line-M
Hard Drive/ WD 1TB 7600RPM

Building a gaming PC for $400 would be a challenge for anyone! The system you have chosen will certainly play older games on lower settings.
Your never going to reap the full benefit of your FX-6300 with a 760G motherboard. Not to mention the fact that older games aren't multi-threaded enough to use more than 1 or 2 cores of that CPU anyway. You could save a few dollars and drop in an FX-4300, I doubt you would notice any difference.
The HD 7770 is a good entry level card, but once again I doubt it will operate at its full potential plugged into that motherboard.
Look around for an entry level 970 board and an FX-4300.
If that's more than you want to spend, you can always get the Athlon X4 760k and a cheap FM2 board. It will cost...

Its hard to go wrong with Asus. They make some of the best boards you can buy. I almost bought that board myself! Its a good one.
