First gaming build questions

As you probably guessed by the title I'm trying to build my first gaming pc with a max budget of £750 (I'd really like to keep it under £710 if possible) and well I can't decide between these two builds.

Build 1

Corsair Vengeance 2x4 GB 1600 RAM - £ 41.51
Corsair builder 600w psu - £57.26
Western Digital 500gb HHD - £ 43.97

Cooler master HAF 912 plus - Already have
Windows 8 oem - 68.49 (Yes I'm a cheapskate)

Build 2

Gigabyte SKT-AM3+ 970A-D3 (Rev 1.0) - £64.98
AMD FX6300 Black Edition - £105.41
Corsair Vengeance 2x4 GB 1600 RAM - £ 41.51
Corsair builder 600w psu - £57.26
Western Digital 500gb HHD - £ 43.97
Palit Nvidia 670 - £290.40
Cooler master HAF 912 plus - Already have
Windows 8 oem - 68.49

Total £ 690.88

I know build 1 is better but by how much? Will there be a massive difference in FPS and will the fx6300 bottleneck the GPU?

Also I might be willing to overclock the 6300. One last thing Nvidia Phyxs still work with a AMD cpu right?

i5 is better.
fX-6300 won't bottleneck the GPU.

Nvida PhysX is on the GPU side.

Ah thanks, any idea what the FPS difference will be? Also will the psu be enough?

600W will be plenty for a single. If you want to SLI you will need 750W minimum.
