Hey all, I'm brand new to the PC building space, and just looking for some thoughts on my build. I'm probably still a few months away from actually buying things and starting the build, but wanted to get some advice well before I started. Anything would be appreciated! Thanks!

What's the reason for going the AMD route over the Intel? I won't be overclocking at all, and I assume that is why?

The 3rd gen Ryzen's don't need to be overclocked, AMD made them so your pretty much getting the best performance out of the box which is why there is very little overclocking room. All you'd need to do is enable PBO (Precision Boost Overdrive) in the BIOS.

However if you want to go Intel you don't need to spend that much.

Or if you want to spend a bit more then grab the RTX 2080 Super as it closes the gap between the 2080 & 2080 ti.
