First gaming build

I have a functional Lenovo H520s 2561 which has a pentium G2020 in it. Im wondering if i should start completely new, or reuse the processor, motherboard, and some ram. I'm not looking for anything extreme, just some respectable performance.

You have a working PC yes? Reusing the CPU, mobo, and DRAM isn't going to change much of anything performance wise...You could prob add a better GPU to what you already have fo a bit of a boost. If me I'd just build new the 2020 CPU isn't very strong for much of anything, it's a OEM mobo which doesn't offer much and prob has entry level 1066 DRAM, maybe 1333
