Hi!

I plan to build my first PC and using it for gaming. I also have a Full HD 22" monitor and I will use it for a while before buying a bigger one.

So, I thought about this components: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/22RMcY

Whay do you think? What do you recommend to add/remove? A 500W power supply would be ok for it? What about the case?

Thank you!

Solution
Here's a better build with the best bang for the buck. I took the 750w PSU as it was just 2$ more than the 650w one. It'll be better in the long run for OCing as you'll have more headroom and also it will stand good for another PC build (many years later). ;)

This R5 1600 and GTX1070Ti combo is around 50% better in gaming performance compared to i7-8700 and GTX1060 which is a huge gain. Included larger SSD. I did not compromise on quality. All are good quality components.

MERGED QUESTION
Question from ciucurelradu : "My first gaming pc build"

Hi!

I am going to build my first PC and plan to use it mainly for gaming.

What do you think about the following configuration: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rhQQq4

I also have a list of questions/explanations based on that:
1. I want to build it around Intel architecture (personal preferance). I know that an i5 is good enough for gaming but I want an i7 because I saw it's better for over full hd resolution even in games and I might want to learn Photoshop one day...
2. What motherboard do you think is the best? GIGABYTE Z370P-D3 or MSI Z370-A PRO?
3. What do you think about the RAM? Is it ok the 3000 frequency or should I buy a 3200 for 15$ - is it worth it?
4. What case do you think is the best? Corsair Carbide 270R Black or SilentiumPC Gladius M35W Pure Black?

* The real HDD is WD Blue 1TB SATA-III 7200 RPM 64MB . I cannot find it on PcPartPicker.
* The real power supply is Segotep GP Series 500W, 80 PLUS GOLD. I cannot find it on PcPartPicker.

Thank you a lot!
