Hi guys. This is, hopefully, going to be my first gaming build. My current computer can hardly browse the web since it's so old so i want to upgrade to a new one. The games i am going to play on it are Starcraft 2 mostly and maybe guild wars 2 at a later date. This is my first time building a pc so i don't know if some of the components that i have in my head are going to be overkill for what i want to do with it.

Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: Maybe in 2-3 weeks time

Budget Range: I don't want to go over $1000.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming

Are you buying a monitor: No

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Preferably pccasegear.com since i'm from Australia

Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

Parts Preferences: For the cpu i would prefer Intel but if i could get away with an amd cpu i don't mind.

Overclocking: I would prefer not to.

SLI or Crossfire: No

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920 x 1080

Additional Comments: So yeah, i want it to be able to play starcraft 2: WoL and the new one when it comes out hopefully at high or ultra settings. I don't mind if i have to overclock but i would prefer not to.

Thanks guys, hopefully you can help me out :)
