Hi all, I am new to tom's hardware, and I am looking to purchase a new budget gaming desktop (~$700-$900), prebuilt. My current Lenovo Y500 has just died, and I think I would rather replace it with a moderately powerful desktop instead. Here are a few options, I would like to hear if anyone has had any experience with these models, or can suggest a better one in this price range.

Asus GR8II-T044Z ($729)
1 TB 7200 rpm
i5-7400
GTX1060 3 GB
8 GB ram

Asus GR8II-T069Z ($900)
512 GB M.2 SSD
i5-7400
GTX1060 3GB
16 GB ram

HP Omen $820
1 TB 7200 rpm
i5-7400
GTX1060 3 GB
8 GB ram

Asus G11CD ($1099), was on sale for $949 a few weeks ago
1 TB 7200 rpm
512 GB SSD
i5-6400
GTX1060 6 GB
16 GB ram

Are these very good value for the price? I know building a desktop can be cheaper, but I am more interested in just having a system ready to go. I am kind of leaning towards the Asus T069Z.

Thanks for any opinions!

Thanks for the reply.

Although its a little more money, is this Dell XPS a good deal?

Dell XPS ($1130)
2TB 7200 rpm
256 GB SSD
i7-7700
GTX1070 8 GB
16 GB ram

its a few hundred more, but it comes with a large mechanical hard drive and SSD, as well as the i7, and an 8GB GTX1070, instead of the 3GB 1060 the other have. My question is, would I see a noticeable improvement in performance to make it worth the added expense?

Thanks!

Are you sure you don't want to order parts and build the PC? Although these pre-built PCs are good, It's so much fun being able to put together your own creation, and being able to change anything you want. Also what games would you be playing? Depending on the task your going to be throwing at it will greatly change what parts to mostly invest into.
