Hi all. First time building a pc and going for mid range gaming computer.

Please check my components and give comments on if anything seems odd. Look forward to reading your comments and advice.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 .
Mobo: Asus tuf b450m plus motherboard.
Case: Nzxt h510 case
Gpu: amd Radeon 5600xt
PSU: be quiet pure power 11 400w PSU
MEMORY: Corsair vengeance 2 x 8gb ram ddr4
STORAGE: Adata XPG SX8200 Pro M.2-2280 512GB PCI Express 3.0 x4 NVMe Solid State Drive

1)Motherboard: if you end up with a box that doesn't have the 'Ryzen 3000 Ready' badge on it, you will be forced to return it.
If you really want that one, you have to make sure the orderpuller - if you're ordering online - gets one with that badge on it.

2)PSU: nope. While users can get away with a lower wattage unit, that's FAR less than AMD 550w recommendation.
If you can do the 500 or 600 version of that model, that would be better. That, or the Corsair CX550 or CX650.

3)Memory: at least 3200mhz.

4)Pretty pricey SSD. Shave some of that off with a Crucial MX500 2.5" and put that towards a better psu.

Well, that's my 2cents.

1) motherboard has that in picture so assume ok

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/353115282002

2) ok now using the 500w model.

3) ok changed to HyperX FURY 16GB (2x 8GB) 3200MHz DDR4 RAM, Which is actually cheaper.

4) Crucial MX500 2.5" is sata SSD and 560mb/s

i thought this was old technology and was interested in the NVMe technology as this drive delivers Up to 3500MB/s Read, 2300MB/s Write. It is £69 as opposed to £60 for crucial.. for £6 getting a far superior drive surely

Thanks for your expertise, very much appreciate your comments.

I would still use a more recent motherboard, B550 wouldn't be much more expensive, you can find a B550 Phantom at 115$ which is pretty reasonable.

Hi

Ok so £20 more is worth going from Asus tuf 450m to a asrock 550 phantom?

Also, I see the ASRock AMD B450M Pro4 F Ryzen AM4 Micro ATX Motherboard is just £68

Which one?

1)Asus tuf b450m plus motherboard
2)ASRock AMD B450M Pro4 F Ryzen AM4 Micro ATX Motherboard
3)ASRock B550 Phantom Gaming 4 ATX Motherboard

Thanks for any comments
