First Gaming PC build, £750 budget, Thaughts?

Solution
Don't need that 212 evo, the stock cooler is sufficient. PSU is not a quality unit. Z170 is not necessary for a locked CPU, as it cannot overclock. GTX 1070 is going to be out, in just a few days. 120gb SSD isn't very useful, and I am not sure on the quality of a PNY built one. I would drop it, so you can focus more money, on GPU. Something more like this. The 1070 price is the founder's edition price. Aftermarket cards, with custom cooling, is expected to be less.

Just a bit more for the 6500 and worth it. Nice MB with 1150 codec for good sound. Large, nice quality SSD. Much better GPU. Quality PSU.

If you really need to stay in budget, get the SSD later. You could also consider the AMD RX 480 GPU which will be a bit better than the GTX 970, but not as good as the GTX 1070.

I was not laughing at you logainofhades as I had not seen your post yet and I know the 6400 had already been chosen. You're right, that for gaming, there is not much difference. Still, for less than £15 difference, you might as well get the 6500 for the 18% improvement in frequency. By the way, I had forgotten about the Antec Truepower Classic- a good choice that saves a bit of money.
