So, as you know its my first pc build, and i have joined this website in seek of advice.I have picked out every part that id like to go with, and was wondering if i picked a good combo. In the future, im planning on expanding, and going sli and overclocking. BUT THAT IS FOR THE FUTURE. Im planning on spending just over $1,300 CAD.

Questions:

1😀o i have to get an ssd or no?
2:Iv been thinking about subsituting a gtx 770 for SLI 760's. Would that be a good idea? and would it save me money on the entire build because of the extra fans and cooling that will be needed.. along with a better psu?
3:Cooler Master HAF 912 or NZXT Phantom 410?
4:Can i run bf4 on ultra safely, with stock cooling on my cpu?
My Specs are:

Asus Z87-a LGA 1150
Cooler Master HAF 912 or the NZXT Phantom 410 black
Intel Core i7-4770K Quad-Core Desktop Processor 3.5 GHZ 8 MB Cache

Optical Drive: Lite-On iHAS124-04 DVD/CD Writer ($18.25 @ Vuugo)
Total: $1365.42

A little over budget but having that GTX 780 is really worth it. It is one of the most powerful graphics cards right now and will be great for any game you throw at it.

An i7 is only as good as a i5 in gaming BTW.

Solution
SSDs are nice if you have the budget. You should just get a GTX 760, and save your SLI slot for the future (or better yet, get a 780). HAF 912 is my favorite. CPU cooling isn't totally necessary but you should go for it. Here's what I'd build with your budget.

Well , thats at the moment right? Near future might include or scale better with hyper threading..? and im not a fan on the ASrock mobos and would i be able to get atleast 60fps on ultra 1920x1080 on my build without needing to buy an aftermarket cpu cooler?

The 780 only requires 250W, the rest of the build adds up to about 500W. Wattage isn't even that important though, it's the voltage on the 12V rail.

You would be able to get the same performance without the after market cooler but with the after market cooler you can overclock your CPU to get even more performance, which you can't do with the stock cooler.

PS: Asrock motherboards are actually very good. For $130 I got my Asrock Z77 Extreme4 and it has amazing features and I have never had any problems with it.

would the corsair hx750 run the build no problems?

Oh Ok.. so an aftermarket cooler wont be needed until i decide to over clock..

THANKS.. and btw.. phantom 410 or haf 912? and any other suggestions on cases that have good cooling under the 100$ price range?
