Hi, i am building my first gaming PC ever and this is my first post ever. Also keep in mind i have little knowledge on building PCs and components ;-)

Budget: At most, 1,200 dollars if I need to get other parts. I would like a PC for gaming, and i Intend to keep it for at least 5 years. I do not need to play everything at ultra resolution... but i would like to run games on high res smoothly. I live in Brasil, but my boyfriend is going to US this february, so he can buy parts there.

Will the computer run smoothly with these parts? Will it bottlenech?
Also, i do not intend to overclock it for now... maybe after a few years.

GPU: EVGA Nvidia 970 GTX GPU - I did a research, and people say its one of the most cost efficient GPU. I am pretty sure i will stick to this one.

MoBo: GIGABYTE 1150 GA-B85M-D3P
I can get this component at a discount price at a store my friend works.

Processor: INTEL I5 4440 3.10GHZ 6MB BX8
I can get this component at a discount price at a store my friend works.

PSU: AEROCOOL XPREDATOR KCAS ATX 600
I can get this component at a discount price at a store my friend works.
A thread said its a tier 4 PSU...so should i get another one? if so which one?

Ram: I have 2 DDR3 CORSAIR VENGEANCE CMZ8GX3M1A1600C10 8GB 1600MHZ. I currently use them on my computer (been using it for about 3 years). Is it okay if i keep them or should i get new ones? if so, which one?

I live very close to the beach.... I currently use a mastercooler K350 computer "case"(?) (not sure thats how u guys call it.) And so far i am having no troubles against the rustiness of the beach. Is okay if i keep it? will all these components fit on it, or should i get a new one?

Thanks in advance

Sorry, i think i didnt express myself right.

The budget for 1,200 dollars is in case I need to buy other components, since probably the parts at my friends store are not good enough.

Also, parts in brasil, are way more expensive than in the US, and i do not know many trustable stores at the US to compare prices.

I will edit my original post.

Sry for the confusion.

Edit: 3 I build another system with the 4 gen intel and well it isn't really worth :/

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Yn6Qt6 but at least you can use the old ram...

The problem with the build that you mention is that the i5 4440 isnt really a great processor for its price, you could pick up some newer stuff for almost the same price.

the I5 4440 is almost the same as the i5 4690k: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2fqUaS0v7YA

and here is a video comparing the i5 6600k vs the i5 4690k https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WZ_5p9wd2dk and you can literally see a big difference... or here; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QN5U981K5_U
