Im looking into buying my first gaming pc and i don't want to spend over 700 dollars, and I'm not looking to build my own at this time, would these specs work good for running games like dayz, skyrim, and borderlands...etc. or games that take a heavier toll on computing?

That is a terrible price for that CPU and GPU, you will get terrible performance on those games with those. Get a 6300 and a 7870 at least.
