first gaming pc

i'm trying to build a gaming pc and i have a few parts that i know i will put in the build:
motherboard:maximus iv extreme
processor: intel i-7 4770k
graphics card:gtx 780
case: coolmaster storm trooper
i want to get 3 monitors and a water cooling system
also is 32 gb overboard on the memory?(if you use cad and play game)
if anyone has suggestions they will be greatly appreciated.

For gaming your pc will run anything on ultra settings and the 32gb is over kill for gaming(gaming only needs 8gb), but CAD programs uses a ton of ram. My brother uses cad for his engineering classes and he says that they program occasionally crash with 12 gb of ram. I would think you would be fine with just 24 gb unless your design is massive.

well i play eve online and will probably have an alt account(two accounts on at once) and will use multiple monitors so i can do that while i browse the web
basicly i will have a lot of programs on at once

Even so you will still have plenty of ram to spare.
