Hi, Im planning on building a gaming pc with a budget of around £1000. I would appreciate if anyone could either point out potential compatibility issues or recommend any better components.
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600
MOBO: MSI B350M GAMING PRO Micro ATX
GPU: Zotac GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Mini
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4-2400
Storage: Kingston A400 120GB 2.5" SSD
WD Blue 1TB HD
Case: NZXT S340 Black
PSU: Corsair CXM 550W 80+ Bronze Certified Seni-Modular ATX Power Supply

You might want a slightly better psu. Look on https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/631048-psu-tier-list-updated/ and get a tier 1 or 2.
You are also getting a micro ATX motherboard when your case supports atx (standard size).
At the current time there is mining occuring and graphics cards are much more expensive than they should be. Because of this you may be able to find a gtx 1080 for not a lot more money, but offering much better performance.
Otherwise looks like a great build.

Thanks for the advice is there any particular atx motherboards you would suggest. Also how much more roughly do you think a 1080 would be and would i not need to improve my cpu if i bought the 1080. Thanks

You could probably get a 1080 for 75 - 150 more than a 1070.
Your CPU would work fine with a 1080.
Any b350 or x370 motherboard from MSI Asus etc.
