Sooo right now I have an old pc that can barely run CS: GO on low settings. I was planning on putting together my first gaming pc. I chose to buy parts from Amazon because I have prime and it would be faster. I have a budget of around 1100$ CAD. So I put together this thing.
I would like to hear some feedback about my choices and please feel free to tell me if anything is wrong.
Here is the list of parts: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/registry/wishlist/81PFTEJCFJX0/ref=cm_wl_huc_view

I would say squeeze in another $43 for the 6GB version of 1060. It's more important than wasting money on RGB stuff, which does zero for performance. Having only 3GB VRAM in today's games means not being able to use max texture settings in some games.

Are you getting some kind of discount not shown on the page you linked to, because I see it at $47, while it shows the 212 EVO at $40. https://www.amazon.ca/Cooler-Master-Hyper-212-RR-212E-20PK-R2/dp/B005O65JXI/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1545860152&sr=1-1&keywords=hyper+212+evo

Anyways, I was speaking more of the RGB fan six pack. Are you aware you only have 3 other fan vents on that case other than the one for the included fan? And since the cooler you chose has RGB fans and is fairly low priced despite being a 2 fan unit, I have to wonder how effective or reliable it is.

Whatever, you can spend your money anyway you want, but you did say it's your first build and are obviously asking for opinions from those experienced at it. The general rule of thumb with budget gaming PCs is you prioritize gaming performance first, rather than going for looks and wasting even more money swapping out the GPU well before it's life cycle has ended.
