Hey,

I have found a monitor that is everything I want and super cheap, but alas that is what has me worried. I was just going to ask the forum if ya'll know anything about this monitor or the company who makes it.
It's by Sceptre, 1920x1080, 144hz, 3ms, VA panel for $237.99.

P.S. Just nervous because this seems too good to be true.

It seems a sub-par equipment. The price says for itself, you probably won't get a high quality product nor the best costumer service.
If you're still willing to believe in the luck of the draw, go on ahead.

Why don't you try listing all of your specs and you desired config so that we can look up for you something that will surely be good while keeping around your budget?

The pricing is about right for that type of monitor. As for Sceptre there a american made product based out of California. I can't speak for the quality as I've never owned one of there products however they seem quite good.

The company reminds me of TCL which is a fairly unknown TV manufacturer and I just bought one of there 4K HDTV's and was very impressed because it was about half the price of similar Samsung/Sony HDTVs with better features.

I already have to the PC as I got it on sale and have been using my 32" TV.
i5-8400k
B360 Motherboard
GTX 1060 3gb
128gb M.2. SSD
1 TB HDD 7200
16gb RAM
450W PSU

Whould this be a better bet?

So you think it could be an ok bet? Or is this a better safer option because it is from MSI?

It could be, monitors or a hit or miss and spending the extra cash doesn't guarantee anything. I've seen plenty of ppl buy the $1,000 Acer X34 and return it due to a lot of backlight bleed or dead pixels. Personally I don't buy monitors online, I'd rather get them through a local store such as Microcenter and if there's a issues I can drive right back and get another or something different if needed.

Yeah I understand. The Acer that you put a link to looks very promising. Plus I don't have a microcenter near me so RIP.
