hey i think i have finally figured out my configuration ( or what i would like) and i think it will work just asking others opinions on the entire thing like am i bottlenecking, better alternatives to what i have etc .

Case - cooler master haf-x
ps - Cooler master silent pro gold 1000 W
Gpu - 2 GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 560 1GB
Ram - 16GB DDR3 G.Skill 2 x 8 GB 1600Mh
Mobo - ASUS Maximus V Formula
CPU - Intel core i7 3820
Hard Drive - drive 500 GB Seagate sata 3 16mb cache
SSD - 128 GB OCZ Agility 4 IV SATA3
OD - Samsung 24X SATA DVD Writer
CPU cooler - CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo CPU
xtra fans – 2 megaflow 200mm red

any opinion would be helpful thanks :)
 
This is a quite imbalanced gaming build if I might comment.

You picked a very powerful CPU. One that really is not going to be utilized in today or tomorrow's games.

The motherboard you picked is also overkill.

I would switch the processor to an i5, and get a Z77 motherboard, unless you have no intention of overclocking.

Then you can use the extra money into a much much much much better GPU than that.

Also, for gaming, 16GB is wayy too much to waste money on. May as well go for 8.
 



thank you for your quick reply yes i thought the cpu was overkill but that was because of availability what would you recommend in the i5 range and also which z77 there is so many any recommendations of graphics cards keeping in mind that i want to run 2 way sli setup?
