First PC build Advice

Howdy,

This will be my first build and I have a budget of around $500.

The main question is about my motherboard and cpu. The intel z87 mobo and the i5 processor set is more expensive and though I could go to $700 I would prefer not to. Any advice or comments would be much appreciated. I do lots of heavy research but would like to play a few games as well. Having this last awhile is a plus. Thanks

Phenom x4 965 BE + stronger gpu. You wont be disapointed

First, you can get the 8320 for 159. I just upgraded to the 8320 from a 955be, which is not much different than a 965 and I notice a big difference.
