First PC build. Are i9 9900k temps too high?

Hey everyone. I just built my first pc. I've had a pre built one for awhile so I know pcs pretty well, but this is my first actual build. I got a 9900k and am just worried temps are too high. I have it boosted from bios but not a manual overclock. Idle I'm getting anywhere between 30-45 degrees. While gaming it wont go over 77 degrees. From what I hear this chip runs hot but just wanted to be sure. It is air cooled btw.

If 77 is as high as it gets you're fine, what do you have for a cooler on it? Definitely don't overclock if you're already at 77

That is temps already with oc mode on through bios. And I have the MasterAir MA410M

Not the cooler I'd of chosen for that cpu, but it seems to be okay. Just keep an eye on temps and know you may have to upgrade cooler at some point. That thing runs at nearly 145w with the "ma. Power" stock settings on some boards
