First PC build, are my parts compatible?

I'm currently planning to build a Gaming Rig for £1000 in exactly 4 months time.(End of March 2016). I know that there are some advanced PC Builders that can help me. I have already decided what parts to use but I'm not 100% sure if they're worth it (Quality, Price ect.) or if they are even compatible! Im going for...

You can save money with slightly different parts in order to afford a high-performance PSU.
I would want at least 240Gb for my SSD. It will be faster and able to hold a couple of decent applications and scratch files.

However, 4 months is a long way away in technology terms. The prices and options will be different then, so think if this are a plan to be adjusted as reality changes.

I don't see how that will fit into 1000 pounds either. Do you have some of these parts already?

Its a bit pointless doing this now. Id also say go 6700k and ddr4. By the time you buy it should be the same price as your current build

Also forgot to say, dont buy a CX PSU, low quality and bad reputation. Invest in a good quality PSU, its the most important part of your pc

I'm also not sure whether a SSD is really required for gaming. I've heard it's optional. Also, I already have a windows copy out of one of my older laptops. Additionally, I might have an extra £140 to spend. Thats £1140 Total. £1331.83-£69.99= £1261.84 So I need only £121 more which is why Im relying on the future costs of prices to lower. I think that ill in fact upgrade my PSU but I have no real clue how many Watts I need. But are all my parts so far compatible? Do I need any extra cables bought separately?

The Windows on your old laptop is probably not transferable, either physically, because it has laptop drivers and not what you need, and legally because it is 'locked' to your laptop motherboard.

I think that a SSD is essential for a build in this class.
The Gaming 5 will do as well as the gaming 7 for your build

All the parts are compatible and will work together. Pencil this in, but be prepared to revise things before you buy.

If you see a screaming deal on the case, PSU, HDD, or SSD, I'd get them. They won't change much in the next four months and will fit for any build.

you may need a case fan or two, but you will not know for certain until after you have built the system.
