Hello, I'm new to pc gaming and am looking to create my first "battlestation" and have a $1400 budget and need a pc, monitor, desk, and mousepad.

Can't recommend any desk or mousepad, this is all personal preference. You did not mention - do you need an OS or not? Here is the build without OS (add $85 for Windows 10 Home 64-bit OEM):
