[SOLVED] First PC Build Compatibility Check

Hi guys,

I planning to build my first ever PC and I put the pars together at PCpartpicker and I was wondering if it is all compatible and will work together.

I know the PC is overkill, but want to make sure it's upgradable in later years, Also, please suggest a better option if it's any

I primarily work on 3d modelling software such as Solidworks inventor, and a bit of photoshop and adobe premier and gaming.

If you are doing a lot of 3d modeling and adobe software you will benefit from the extra cores of the 3900x

thanks for the quick reply,. I never thought of AMD. I will dig through it. Its look promising for the future upgrade.
I more concern about the cooling and noise level. I prefer to have as minimum noise as possible.
Does AMD need more cooling than intel? The cooler I choose will be enough for that?.

Reverse. The 3rd generation ryzen cpus are more efficient and newer than the 9900k.

The i9 9900k outpits more heat than any ryzen cpu (untill the 3950x comes out at least).

The 3900x will run cool on the h150i. You could even use the rgb cooler included with the 3900x, although that may be a bit noisy.

As to your build, yes the parts will all work very well together and the Aorus motherboard is great with a very good VRM and can handle overclocking the 9900K. Same with the H150i Pro which I have and it is a great AIO and funny enough I also have the ADATA SX8200 which again is a great NVMe drive... Finally it will handle your use cases very well. As to the 3900X, availability is pretty bad..

Though it might be worth waiting a bit as the 9900KS which is the all core out of the box 5GHz CPU launches in October and the 3950X 16 core 32 thread launches in November.
