First PC build, confused on powersupply.

I have finally made my final list on what my parts will be in my pc build (note: my first time building my PC). But then I realized I have no idea how much watts I'll need in my power supply. On PC Part Picker, it said something around 250-300 watts, but noted this is only a rough estimate. So, I'm asking for some help. Here are the parts:

Intel Core i3-4160 3.6GHz Dual-Core Processor
MSI Z97 PC MATE ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Western Digital WD Green 2TB 5400RPM
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 650

One last note:

On the back of my graphics card box it says that the minimum requirement is 400W. What does that imply on what I should get? Get a 500W supply?

Hello, so first i noticed you have a Z97 motherboard and an i3 that isn't overclockable, it is not needed to have that as its for unlocked CPU and the features arn't needed if you not overclocking rather go with an H97.

You can generally just look at the graphics cards requirements and go a little higher but if you were overclocking and doing watercooling the you would need more.

A good quality 500/550w PSU will be great. Check out the EVGA GS series they a tier 1 PSU,

You can often get XFX 550w psu's for a decent price. Good, quality, budget, Tier 2 units. Unless that Z97 board is cheaper, stick with an H97. I know in some countries, that board does tend to be cheaper, or similar in price.
